Found some "Treasures" today.

I went to look a a '51 F2 parts truck today and found some other goodies. A retired farmer owns the stuff and has a building full of Ford parts, including lots of flatheads. He took me on a high speed 4-wheeler ride out into his woods to look at the F2. There was also a bare rolling '55 frame and '51 truck cab with the doors. The cab is in very good condition with minor rust issues. Most of what he has can be bought. If anyone is interested, PM me for more information.

I see from your profile that you're in Illinois, but where? Stu

OK guys, it's no secret where I live! Casey is in east central Illinois right on I70. The trucks are close by about 25 miles from my place. If anyone is interested, I'll help you with contact information.

I'd like the contact info and directions if you would. Either p.m. me or post it. I won't get there anymore this fall, but it's good to have another source. Last time I was down to Casey I went through Stutesman's yard. I actually found a couple of my "unobtainium" stock Budd wheels in one of Stutesman's falling down old buildings. Is the yard still in business? Thanks. Stu

Yes, Stutesman's is still very much in business. They still have a large inventory of older vehicles. Cash for clunkers has really had them jumping. Bobby, the youngest Stutesman son and I are best friends so I pretty much get the run of the place!
The other trucks that I looked at are 25 miles from Casey. Please give me a call and I'll give you more information. Call anytime 217 932-4956(home) or 217 663-5252(cell) Thanks, Tim
