truck is running odd

ok on thursday made my own oba and disconnected the red line off the turbo. im now aware thats not needed so its back on. last night and all day yesterday the truck ran amazing with the oba i did throw codes earlier in the evening but no running issues.
this morning i checked my oil (habit i do it every morning)and started my truck up and noticed a severe lack of power. im not getting much smoke definetly not as much as normal and very little to no boost.
the truck will runn up to 70 mph on the highway and seems to boost some but the gauge reads zero and no darh vader noises out of it when i let off or shift

so i guess ill list my observations:

much less black smoke
no boost on gauge
turbo 25% as loud as normal
oil is good
red line is back on
air filter is good
i/c boots are on

im thinking maybe i popped the wastegate open and it stuck open ??

I'm almost 99% sure, you need to open you OBA a little bit more, allow the map sensor to see a bit more air flow. When I made mine, thanks to Jim, I preset my regulator too much and the map wasn't reading any boost, so the truck cut out, if you know what I mean. How did you measure the boost output to the map sensor??

I think clockwise it closes it up Jim, meaning it doesn't let the map see any pressure, counterclockwise, it lets the air flow thru the reg. to the map. Loosen it up a bit and take the truck for a drive, keep testing until your satisfied..

it seriously feels like driving an old IDI with extra fuel to it

Maybe the knob rattled loose from the vibrations, just throwing some senarios out there. If the knob is loose, throw a strip of black tape across it after you get it set again and let me know what happens. This is what mine looks like, air compressor regulator.

Jim did you tighten up on the waste gate rod? It kinda sounds like a boost leak. If you had gauges you could watch your EGT's . When i misaligned my spider mt EGT's were high and my boost was very low

Try removing the OBA and see if it improves. The no boost on the gauge tells me that there is a boost leak somewhere

I agree with Jim, unhook it and re-attach the line to the map sensor and see. I still think its the regulator, same symptoms I had.
