No wind/wipers w/left turn signal

Howdy all! My buddy has a 97? Ranger. On the way to work this morning (in the rain) he noticed he had no windshield wipers with his left turn signal on. I am thinking it is a Multi Function Switch (MFS?), what do you all think? Does anyone know the going rate off hand?
Thanks
COPE

I would agree...but thats more from what I have read on here than actual experience. Wait for someone with some more knowledge to chime in.

Scroll down to the bottom of the posted "Dealer Letter" for some more detail on multifunction switch replacement instructions.

I changed the switch and it was EXACTLY how mrford60 said it was. It was very easy fix. Time wise, this was a not even a 1 beer process. Thanks again!

The 96-97(?) Ranger I did was one w/o tilt wheel. It may be different with tilt, I don't know. But it was very easy, like I said it didn't even take a beer to do it. 3 cross tip (Phillips) screws and 2 size T20 Torx screws. The switch I found was at Advance Auto for 40 bucks. Easy fix for an aggravating and unsafe problem.
