'57 or later, someone who knows those years better should chime in soon I'm sure.

Good looking truck!

I may be wrong but it looks like a 1958 to me. Some one will come along and tell you where on the frame to look. chuck

yea thats a 58 grille anyway so i would say you got yourself a 58. welcome to the 57-60 club are trucks dont get much credit but they are about the best looking style i have ever seen. not sure on the vin on the frame mine is above the front axle on the passenger side. also check the inside of the glove box door for your info plate. took me forever to find mine as i didnt think to look at the glove box door. welcome to the site.

Definitely a '58

Yes there's a vin on the frame however I was never able to find mine and my frame was in pretty good condition. It wasn't until I stripped it to the frame and sandblasted it that the VIN appeared, mine was actually stamped twice on the frame both in the same general area on the frame above the axle on passenger side as the previous poster described.

Yeah I love this body style !
it looks like its going 80 just sitting there !

Im going to get it running , lower it , fix all the dents and rot , maybe blend the patina and wax it .....

then drive the Hell out of it

My friend said it was towed up from Oklahoma in 1985 and sat in his gravel pit ever since

The only real rot is at the step plates , kick panels and fount cab mounts

thanks for the warm welcome !
I will post more Pics soon

Justin

This looks to be a complete '58 F-100, as even though the poor quality of the Pix, everything seems to match up & nothing looks to have been changed.

The DATA Plate w/ the requisite Intel is on the inside of the Dispatch/Glove Box Door or on the Driver-side Door Frame or the Door itself.

Agree with all the above. It is a 58. There are some sheetmetal (floor pans, steps, fenders) available. Cab corners may have to be fabed if they need to be replaced. I bought my sheetmetal from LMC. Not perfect but I managed to make it work. I will post pics on my gallery soon. I nice find. Keep us all posted on progress. Vern
