Hello from Coeur d'Alene, I am currently working on a 1966 F100 Shortbed, I also had a 64 F100 shortbed but just sold it to focus on my 66, Couldn't afford to build two so I picked the one with twin I Beam suspension, if your looking at buying one the lowering kit was alot easier on the straight axle 64. The 66 was way ahead of the game as far as restoration, though is still a work in progress.... here's a picture.
