Picked up a Factory Turbo

I picked up a ford factory turbo out of an early 90's IDI to put in my 6.9. I know its missing some parts,I bought all this for $100.00!!! I know NOTHING about turbos, well yet anyways So I am ready to learn, By looking at the pictures I post can someone tell me what all I am missing? The parts I am missing can I still buy them?

Oil Pressure Line Right?

Oil Line?

Good score! The first picture is of the oil drain that goes int where the CDR mounts on a na motor.
2- is the oil pressure sending unit.
3 is where the oil line mounts. Remove the sending unit on the na motor and install the oil line there to the fitting in pic. 3.
4-is the waste gat actuator
5-The y that mounts to the passanger side exhaust manifold
6- Air intake The top of the air filter housing mounts there
7- Air intake snail mounts on the intake on the motor. Remove air filter housing on the na motor. I also see the oil feed line in this pic.
You will need the grommets to mount the oil return from the turbo to where the cdr is now. I got all grommets and o-rings from ATS for about $60. Did you score the driver side valve cover also? That is where the cdr is moved to. The factory air filter housing is a two piece affair that bolts to the motor. You could use an open type air filter and attach with 4 inch exhaust piping. For a hundred bucks great find!

After rereading your post, it looks like you are missing the crossover exhaust pipe that connects the two exhaust manifolds, the down pipe and the air filter box. The crossover pipe, and the down pipe could be made by an exhaust shop. Someone posted a few weeks ago that ATS has the upgraded turbo elbow to use the 3 inch downpipe in stock again. They probably have the other items also.

Any chance the place you got the turbo has the other parts?

Stock cross over pipe, any decent muffler shop should be able to get that.

They should also be able to get the stock down pipe, but I would try to just get one made since the stock pipe is rather well flattened out.

Air cleaner box, ATS or Ebay would be my first choices.

A second way to go there would be a cone filter and fab up the turbo supply pipe.
But the CDR also has to be relocated to the passenger side valve cover and tie in between the air cleaner and turbo.

Intakes are not too bad to make, really, if you have a welder and some decent skills with it.

Here's mine, I made a filter flip mount and built the intake tube out of a 90 degree 4" mandrel bend.

So Im still waiting on a reply from ATS. I guess if the air box is to much I can fab up something. I seen I can get the downpipe from the local parts stores but no luck on the crossover and valve cover.

I know I have seen the cross over pipe in a Walker Exhaust catalog.

My 3" ATS downpipe had a Walker number on it, like a bone head I did not write the number down.
