I had a parts truck with a fabricated floor made with the checkered plate. It was made with an angle iron sub frame that just sat over the origional floor. The floor is super nice if you want to abuse the bed a bit but way too heavy for my taste. It's a being used as a porch for my dad's workshop right now.

I’m working on it, slowly, there seems to be some discrepancy, so far nothing matches my only good (?) piece @ 4 5/8 +/- (Canadian 51 f1)
