Yep. Oil changes are pricy for these rigs. I waited to tear into mine when I was close to a oil change.
But it was obvious there was a good bit of coolant in the oil as the 5 gallon bucket I drain into was another fifth full or so. When I pulled the plug fisrt came out the coolant for a second or two then the oil came.
If I were you I would bite the bullet and change it. the thought of coolant in oil sounds scary, but I don't know if it will do any damage.

I changed my oil after doing my injectors mainly b/c the truck the injectors came out of cracked the block and had water in the oil system. so i ran it a little bit just to bleed the system(drove to work then home) and changed the oil. no coolant was in mine though. that sounds no wueno. i'm not sure why you would have coolant in oil from injector swap other than worn out injector cups??? probably a good idea to change it after everytime though. something else to really keep your eye on after injector swaps is your FPR screen. IT WILL CLOG UP QUICK!!!!! check it probably once or twice a week just to make sure it is not getting clogged until you notice that its not piling up with gunk over the course of a couple weeks.
I'm pretty sure it was coolant. But I did the oil change at 10 PM in the dark (couldn't wait the next the day to start her up)
Are there coolant ports in the head that when the injectors are pulled will drain down into the motor?? WAG I never had coolant in my oil before the injector swap.

There should not be any coolant in the oil after and injector change unless you have a cracked injector cup which is bad news! I usually change the oil after a injector change due to the fuel that may have seeped past the piston rings.

Well, there is a pretty good reason. I'm sure not much got by with all the oil that I blew outa the cylinders. haha.
Only thing I was worried about fuel wise was the oil you get in the fuel chamber while lubing up the injectors.
I blew them out with the air hose and installed them.
I had them all in, just not tapped down cept for number 8. Man that one was a beotch. be sooo carefull with that one and number 4, one bad swing and bye bye solenoid.

ya pieces of injector o-ring gets in the screen i believe. i know mine got pretty dirty when i did my stage 1's. i cleaned it probably 3 times then it was good after that.
Talyn, after talking to you on the phone today and re-reading this thread. I think you should clean your screen in the fuel bowl like strokin' said.
I will help you quite a bit.
