Congrats William. I can't believe you did this whole project without calling me. You probably knew I wouldn't answer anyway. LOL No but really job well done and your commentary is quite funny! dork!
I actually did call you, I had no problems with this project cept for the damn box on the side of the air thing. And to think its just a vacuum can.
Sucker was GLUED on there. WTH!?!?!?!?!?
I broke the side of the air box getting it off too. Gotta repair the whole thing. Just plugged the vacuum line for now.
I called Neal for a go over on what to do, and for the torque rating on the injector bolts. That's pretty much it.
He gave me the skinny on installing my tuner.

Actually, found the other bolt. it was up there. I lost my mind.
Never found the nut for the dipstick bracket though. Maybe I will cleaning tomorrow.
I cannot believe how much oil was in the exhaust, holy crap.
It runs really good though. I was worried I mighta screwed up with all the oil in there, but then though, with the turning it over oil would have blown up though the valves also into the exhaust.
I drove into town for dinner, and it still started a bit hard. but it starts sooo much better then before. Smooth start when it fires.
The GP's make things great too. No more smoke!
I had the buez or whatever type the motorcrafts are I pulled out.
Some of the injectors were rebuilt already, I doubt installed well.
3 injectors looked like they were leaking down.
But man. I pulled that computer for nothing on the truck. the contacts were already cleaned but the plastic piece was on there.
I got it out and found out its been replaced.
says 94 f250 XLT on it in marker.
Installed the chip switch in the little cubby under the startup lights.
Installed my gauge switch next to the startup lights also.
I plumbed the dimmer into a different area though. The dimmer doesn't work unless the gauges are on, relay breaks the connection. So they get a good healthy 12 volts. well the pot does, but there isn't a whole lot of adjustment for dimness on them, which bumms me out a lot!
I just hit the switch whenever i want the gauges on. The switch lights up, so I can try not to forget they are on.
Not trying to hard I hit 20 lbs of boost.
I got a PHP 6 position chip from Jim.
Its a nice chip, but I'm sure its the same as all the rest.
High idle snaps in though, i wish it was a bit more of a idle up, but just from 500 to 110 like NOW. haha.
Stock runs waaay good. So i know i had injector problems. Way more power, even before the air was outa the lines.
* 1: High Idle - 1100rpm
* 2: Stock
* 3: 35 HP Tow
* 4: 60 HP Economy
* 5: 100 HP Performance
* 6: 140 HP Xtreme
This is how my chip is setup. I guess i was in tow on the way home. haha. I thought I was on economy.
Anyways. 100HP is like. Whoa!
140 hp really changes everything though. didn't use it tonight.
The chip installed easily.
Injectors were easy, cept for the worrying with the hydrolock.
I just kept cranking the motor over with the GP's out till i felt they were empty.
Seems to have worked. boy make sure you keep those VC's on though. what a mess it still made with them on!
We should have a competition on who can get the passenger side Valve cover off the fastest. haha.
I can get the socket on there with one hand and not being able to see it.
I think I dorked around to much.
I got all sorts of pictures. I'ma put some up here and on facebook and some on my websight.
Great write up William, I got a kick out of it. IMHO, most everybody is a grade A top mechanic at the keyboard. Laying under the truck in a foot of snow with hot oil dripping in your face, etc. is usually never mentioned. Glad to see you have a sense of humor.

Where in Michigan are you? I was born in Detroit and wanted to come back and get a trailer I have there. It seems like your weather has been so crappy that I thought I would wait until spring.

Did i mention we got 3 inches of rain last 2 days?
No, redone1, I did not. Oil in there only has 600 miles on it.
Otherwise I would have drained the whole system before installing the injectors to save some grief.
Neal, why you gotta be like that. =)
I think Tim just needs to pitch his phone. He doesn't even check his voice mail.
He's becoming so anti social for some reason. Wife musta tightened the clam on his kahoonies. "You need to stop talking to all those icky greasy truck people!"
hahaha.
Sorry Neal, your much more fun to talk to then Tim anyways. I love the accent from your area. My buddy Derrik over in floyd county VA has a good one like that too.
Yea. I didn't have any messups while doing the truck.
I'll get in there later this week and fix the vacuum box. I just plugged the line for now.
I wish I had a coffee can one to put in there, That would be cool to see when you opened the hood.
I'll try and take some pictures today if it stops raining.
More rain here. Ugh. I want to wash my truck!!!!!!!!
Huh, i was under the impression that it needs to be changed after an injector swap. After I did my injectors I changed the oil and it looked like there was coolant in the oil.
