steering wheel question

I know that all our Ford trucks (1961-1966 and up to 1970) used the same basic 3 spoke steering wheel.

Did other Ford models of that period; Fairlane, etc. use the same wheel? I noticed a Fairlane probably '62 or '63, this weekend that has a steering wheel that looks the same(?) as my 1966 F100 truck wheel and I wondered if they would be interchangable? ie: same shaft, splines, etc.

If someone knows, please share.

Thanks!

63' f100 is starting off with a positive reputation.
my 63 f100 4x4 has 4 spokes, they make an x, but they are a guestimated 30 degrees apart, then the other 300 degrees is open, but again, its just a guess.

Fairlane is not the same steering wheel. The Fairlane's horn ring is not the same, either.
Same 3 spoke 17" steering wheel: 1960/63 Falcon/Comet / 1961/66 F100/250 2WD / 1967/70 F100/350 2WD/4WD / 1966/70 Bronco.

The 1960/63 Falcon horn ring is the same for all of the above, except the Comet. The Comet's emblem is different, otherwise it's the same horn ring.

Dennis Carpenter has reproduced this 3 spoke wheel in black only (C3DZ3600A).

The "chrome" horn ring has also been reproduced, but by whom...I dunno.

The horn ring was chrome thru 1967. 1968/70: Ford painted the horn ring a flat grey color to ward off glare.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FOUR spoke 18" steering wheel: 1961/66 F100/250 4WD / 1961/66 F350/750.

The horn ring & horn button used with the FOUR spoke steering wheel is not the same as the THREE spoke steering wheel.
