lift kit

I have a "89 F-250 straight cab, and the snow plow mount is too low. I would like to lift the frame off the differentials, front and rear. Will blocks and longer bolts suffice? Will I have to lengthen the steering gear and shocks?

NO Blocks In the front!!!!! One helper spring in the front with new ubolts should get ya up and runnin! In the front you can go 2 inches but depending if you wheels are sagging you will have to install camber bushings. With the plow on it may level things out. Rear you can put a 2 inch block back there, but axil wrap is going to increase. We have the same problem with our 96 f-250 with the plow she saggs REALLY bad just needs a helper in the front its on the to do list too!!
Two inches should not need longer shocks or steering pitman arm drop.. anything more than 2" might require shocks and drop pitman.
