Anyone have any ideas for getting rid of an in cab fuel tank in a 77 f-250 hiboy, without having to use a fuel cell? Does anything fit between the rear frame rails. I have a 78 box w/ a rear fuel door.
You'd probably have lot better luck getting a response in either the "Fuel Injection, Carbueration, and Fuel systems" forum or the "77-79 Ford Trucks" forum than you will here. The question would get read by more people with knowledge in that area in those two forums. Not to say you shouldn't have posted here too, just a suggestion to help you get an answer quicker/easier.
Good Luck, there are an unbelievable number of knowledgeable people on this site willing to help out in any way they can. They will surprise you sometimes in what they are willing to do to help out often without being asked.

Yes, the above mentioned forums are the place to ask your tech questions. If you were looking for a place in the state where you might want to find a tank this is were you would want to be.

I also have a 75 hiboy with a 78 bed and we have been calling around for a while looking for parts and info. From what we found out is that a gas tank from a Bronco from about the same year will fit in and line up for you. If have any advice or know of people with parts, or salvage yards feel free to let me know.
