If your willing to pay for a high quality factory grill then go to your dealer. The billet grill is available on the 2010 XLT models with the chrome package.

And? All the factory grills are cheap plastic. I wonder if the hood struts would hold a heavier grill for the life of the truck.

billet aluminum is pretty lightweight.

to the OP, check into Carriage Works billet grilles. I had one of their billet grilles on my 04 truck for 5 years and it held up great.

^only because you said the factory grille was billet, but it's not (i.e., metal). The order guide calls it "billet-style." ...moving on.

dont see the big deal deal with it being plastic. if your truck gets hit, its going to be ruined either way.

I am certainly open to building a custom aluminum or chrome grill if anyone is interested.
