Something to revitalize the interior

I have a 02 F250 SD and the interior door panels are showing some signs of fade. But whats funny is its in area that get wet once in a while (top of door panel near front of door) and I see streaks like stuff had run down the side of my door. Has anyone found any kind of product that cleans the plastic door panels and removes stuff like this?

Once the plastic panels start to fade I would say the best bet is hit them with a fine grit sand paper and repaint them using spray paint that works on plastic, vinyl ect. Most panels come apart pretty easy as long as you ain't too worried about taking your interior apart (which drives my father nuts :P) The best thing I've used on keep my interior clean is a protectant every couple of months (not armor all cause it attracts to much dust for my liking) but I've had good luck with house hold degreasers for getting real stubburn stuff out, but it damages the panels a bit if you repeatily use it, another thing that works well is straight hand cleaner it gets into all the little cracks and works the grime free, using a hand brush also helps alot. With about an hours worth of scrubbing you'd be surprised how your interior looks after you add a protectant

I agree that if your plastic is faded, some interior paint meant specifically for plastic may be your only cure. But about the Armor All thing, I keep a container of those Armor All wipes in my Mustang and it only takes a second to wipe down the whole interior once a weel or so and it stays clean until the next week, but then again I don't drive it on dirt roads or in dusty condions like you might do with a truck.

Try to use water based interior dressings. They do not collect as much dust, and they actualy dry unlike petroleum based. Good luck with the stains!
