EGR installed- NOW RUNS LIKE GARBAGE!!

I had the EGR blocked off and a bolt in the EGR port on the headers and the motor ran great. I went and got my $80 replacement tube and adapter for the EGR and installed it. Went to take the rig for a test drive and i couldnt make it out of the driveway. When under load, then dropping back to idle, it stalls. the truck idles fine when in park. The TPS is new and all wires are in good shape. What could be causing this to happen? <--i really need to stop doing this... heads starting to hurt-->

I have correct voltage to the TPS and the vac lines were all replaced with the new motor. I tested the valve itself and the motor stumbles when added direct vacuum. Idk what is going on here...

You have the EGR valve conected to the EVR and not directly to manifold vacuum right?

Thats correct. Green vac (which is now a rubber vac line.) line was routed directlty to the EGR and the white was routed where it needed to go(again, another replacement rubber vac line).

Is there a sensor on top of your EGR - I think it's called the EVP. If so, what is the voltage coming from the EVP sensor at idle?. I think it has to be .67v. If that voltage is off it can do wacky things.

All the vac lines are rubber now because I replaced them all when i replaced the motor to ensure there were no vac leaks. I used the old EGR off of the other motor and i know it was working then.

Not sure on the color scheme, but the manifold vacuum should go to the EVR first. Usually located on the driver's side of the intake. A second vacuum hose runs from the EVR to the EGR valve. The ECU controls the EGR valve by modulating the EVR valve on/off.

$80 for an EGR line? dang! Mine was $31 plus shipping. It sounds like your EGR valve is not fully seated, but usually that will throw a code and turn on the CEL. It would be a good idea to verify the closed position EVP signal as well verify the EGR valve is seating properly.
