Oil Baffle, Drip Rail, 3 fingered...

I have spent entirely too long looking up a part on Dennis Carpenter's web site. Can anyone give me a good search word to use to find the oil baffle that goes on the rocker arm assembly? Many thanks if you can. More thanks if you can direct me to someplace that has them.

I don't think the fingered drainback tins are repoped by Carpenter or anyone that I know of. Used only. Try FE.com is no one here has a set.

Seen the post on Net 54 , I'll look in the garage, as mentioned there is a set of shorties in there IIRC. I'll be happy to give them to you. Even ship them, lots of folks done right by me between the two forums. "Where's my ****ing beer toasting smiley when I need it ? Damnit!!

Found them, if you'd like them sent PM me and I'll get them out to you.

That would be great, but I'd be more than happy to pay you for them.

If you don't have it, you might also want to get the baffle that goes under the intake manifold, covers the whole valley and helps keep hot oil off the bottom of the intake

Hardly, this is my first FE build and it has been a learning experience. I had a 360 in my '69 and bought a 390 motor out of a barn in Mineral Wells, Tx for $100. I figured if it wasn't any good, I wasn't out much. Come to find out, it was in pretty good shape. Crank was nice, and .020 cleaned up the cylinders. Anyway, I have some duplicate pieces.

Wow, that gave me an instant headache- gotta get back to work cleaning out the shop, loading stuff for the swapmeet at Sacramento Raceway on Sunday- I'm determined to be able to walk from one end of the shop to the other, without taking a detour, by the end of the day
Should be counting the flying pigs by 5:00
