Tilt column length 35" vs 41" ??

I just found another tilt column that some guy had,and had no idea what it came from. Its a 78-79 truck column but its 41" long..not 35".

Its been a long time, but I didnt think 2wd and 4wd had different length columns.I just remember differnt couplings.Am I wrong??

You could get the same column in a van and it was about that much longer. An excellent source of parts.
