3rd row seat belt

Yesterday my wife picked up my 4 year old daughter from school and came home to go to the bathroom before running to Target to help keep the economy going. My daughter wanted to stay in the truck so my wife ran into the house. Moments later she heard my daugher screeming for her (not that unusual) but my wife ran back out to the driveway to find that my daughter tangled in one of the 3rd row seat belts. She had pulled the belt all the way out and engaged the locking mechanism and somehow got her neck wrapped up in it. The buckle was not clicked in so I really don't know how this could have happened but my wife rightfully thinking of our daughter's safety ran a got a pair of sissors and the phone in case she needed to call 911 and cut the seat beat. My daugther is fine and hopefully will never play with the seat belts again but now I need to replace the belt. It's the passenger side 3rd row belt and I've called several salvage yards in my area without any luck. I'm always telling my wife about this forum and she thought I should ask you all for some suggestions.

Even though the chances are slim that a part from a salvage yard would be in poor or unsafe condition, a replacement seat belt (IMO) should always be OEM and brand new.

I agree completely - in unknown condition they could have been in an accident already or cleaned with strong chemicals to get them nice for sale. I wouldn't trust a used set.

I have one out of a running 2000 EX if you are still considering used? Tan color, never been wrecked (as far as I know).
