new shock time which ones

My 02 2wd escape needs new shocks and I was wondering if their is a better brand to run or could I go with the parts store brand cheap ones. Thanks

I wouldn't go with KYB's or any cheapy's.. you get what you pay for. Monroe's are supposed to be good and that's what we'll go with when the time comes. Make sure all the bushings are good or just replace them or it won't do much good.
