Not sure what you are asking here. Junk yard for a new cover and bolts. What trans code? What do you want to know?

the trans code is on the drivers side door pillar.you most likely have a t18 or t19 trans, being itan f250 with a 460.

did that. all my grounds are good. i just dont have power.... think i found the issue though. just gota figure out what wire goes to the starter relay from the eec unit. it goes from two wires to a plug that splits to three.... but hopefully i can find it. my wiring diagram is not in any of the store bought motor manuals. i own the chiltons and the hanes one. neither show the wiring for a truck that has the stock duel battery setup... if anyone has a link or a scan of that i would really apppricate it. thanks again for the suggestions and quick replies

When I lost all power on my 86, it was due to a bad fusible link coming off the starter solenoid mounted on the passenger side fender. It's easy to check with a test light.

again thank you. found the problem. summet racing told me to disconnect my voltage regulator and take it entirely out of the system when i installed my new alternator. however, the hot lead going to your ecc that also powers almost everything else in the truck goes to that regulator first, then to the starter silinoid... so now that i attached that, the truck started right up..... so much electrical troubleshooting beacuse i listened to some idiot summet tech..... anyway, does anyone know if it really matters weather i use 90 weight gear oil or 120 weight gear oil in the t-19 trans, transfercase, and axles? i have 120, dont have any 90 atm, so just wondering. and what is a the difference between a full floting and semi-floting rear axles?

A full floating rear axle supports more weight, the load is held by the axle shafts instead of the bearings. Another benefit of a full floater is if an axle shaft breaks, your wheel doesn't fall off.

i figured that part, but what is the difference in what they look like? oh, and btw, the alternator summet sold me has a pully thats about half an inch off so it snapped the last two 15$ belts i put on. now that i figured it out though, i found that the pully location cant be adjusted on that model cus they cut the threads right after the nut so u cant pull it out and cant push it back.... askldjflk;jasdjfkl... anyway, got a friend gona drive me to summet so i can have a.... word with them. gona do that tomarow as a break from moving. thankfully, my buddy also has a truck so i was able to move my furnature. that woulda sucked.... oh and thanks for all yoyur help guys. info much appricated.

and can you put a 11 inch clutch on a trans set up for a 10 inch? just curious
thanks agin
