Interesting read. It just bothers me that nearly all the media downplays or ignores the fact that they though "Outside the borders" for the manufacture of the scorpion.

Is this plant in Mexico not the same engine plant that made the much loved 4.9L straight 6?

I believe that they were made in production volume at Cleveland and Lima. OTC service assemblies may have been made in Mexico.
I'm sure a couple hundred people in Indianapolis are real happy about the prosperity the 6.7 brings to them.
