Long ago.............We once had a company snitch who lived to gather intell on all of us and take it to the boss, one night we bribed a temp worker who was on his last night of work anyway to get even with this idiot once and for all...............The person in question headed to the portable outhouse, the temp worker tailing on a forklift......The temp waited until the guy was busy and then slid the forks under the outhouse with the forklift mast against the door, lifting him about 20ft in the air, and shutting off the forklift..........Where the snitch remained for the next 8 hrs until dayshift found him the next morning.............No complaint was ever lodged by the idiot, and management never investigated...................To everyones glee, he quit several weeks later.
Payback can be SWEET!!

Update: I went to work late yesterday. As I thought Joe called me to make sure I was gonna be there. When I got there the owner stepped out and I hashed it out with Joe. He apologized and said he was wrong for sending me home and was re instating my time. He is making changes to work more with me instead of against me. We will see is all that I can say.
The owner found out about me being sent home cause I told my helper to go to work on monday and tell Joe that I was not coming in since he sent me home and nothing was resolved. The owner was set aback. My understanding from the others at work was that the owner was not pleased with Joe's actions and set him straight.
Appreciate the thought, Kyle, but I'm just calling them as I see them. I hope that your attention prostitute has seen the light and will stop trying to put up roadblocks in your path. In my experience they don't tend to do that without a fight, but maybe with the other supe's having your back and the owner listening to your side, your experience will be different. I hope so, anyway.
Only other thing I can think to tell you is that since he has done a sort of "come into the light" thing after you layed it on the line to him is that you need to keep on your guard all the more now. He's been wounded in his pride and had to do something that caused him to lose some face, so he'll be on the lookout for any opportunity to "correct" that. Remember, this sort of personality thinks that nothing is out of bounds when it comes to his being "respected". Avoiding him is still your best bet, because the more distance you can keep between him and you, the better. That way, if he does do something to get back at you, you can rightfully claim that you have'nt even been around him, so how could he know you were doing anything wrong unless he was either 1) sneaking around to find something on you, or 2) lying through his teeth. Watch your back. Doing your job to the best of your ability is the best way to show the owners that you are the one with the honour, not him.

I've been working with a fella similar to that for the last four years. It's very annoying and insulting to one's intelligence.
Unfortunately, this fella is also a very seeded racist. He constantly pulls the new white people aside and tells to watch thier backs as our morning supervisor isn't caucasion.
I eventually pulled hi aside and asked him to stop infecting the minds of the new emplyees and please stop rabble rousing.
You know, it didn't do a damned bit of good but I did make my point.

That's priceless! I've worked with a guy that looked like that before too but he was a great guy and a riot. He came up with some of the best one-liners I've ever heard.
Kudos to you for sticking to your guns Kyle. Now that the Big Man knows more of what is going on, maybe things will settle down a bit. Good job my friend.
