Wife 0 Deer 1

My wife hit a 8 point buck with her Grand Marquis. It hit the roof at the top of the glass. It pushed the roof back about 16 inches. Lisa was very lucky. It could have went through the windshield. She was going about 55 when it happened. The deer got up & ran off. It was hurt bad though. The car has been totaled. Lisa wants another Marquis or Crown. She thinks the big cas saved them from injury. Lisa & her mom were not hurt other than minor cuts from flying glass.

Sorry to hear that man. That's my biggest fear going to work at 4 am where I live. Deer all over the place. Did they go and try to find the deer?

The deer got away. I doubt it lived from the way it was falling down. If they had let it alone , it might have stopped. Its body hit the roof line hard enough to push it back over a foot.
