okay guys I'm bumping this back up and trying to keep it current

do we want to have a meet in Nov.or Dec. ?
is it too close to the major holidays? is money too tight for others as it is me around this time of year ? if you guys want to have one I'm in

ideas? cookouts are out because of the weather

Hey guys im not a member of your chapter being i just signed up but there are rooms down oc cheaper than that. If you go to Ocean City Maryland - OC Maryland Vacation and they have a whole list of hotels. The one i normally stay at in the winter is the holiday inn down further. Their website is Holiday Inn Oceanfront Ocean City Maryland and its showing about $72 a night. Just throwing out ideas for you all.

ok, brainstorming about a potential GTG... if you're interested in the eastern shore - rooms would be less pricy even in the Salisbury, MD area (only 20 min. from OC).

I saw somewhere a mention of a covered dish lunch or something similar... great idea! But, can you guys cook??? Does anyone have info on a hall of some sort (VFW, Elks, Moose, Fire hall) that wouldn't cost an arm & a leg? I happen to know a pretty decent DJ that might be able to volunteer her services for an event...

Or, for our reunion a few years back (ok, many years back), we just used a hotel that had a restaurant with live entertainment that evening, so those who wanted to eat & run could, and those who wanted to stay for drinks/dancing had the option, too. (very convenient for those who drank & couldn't get home).

Just some ideas...

Definately still interested in going to a meet, but sadly has to be close by. New job and college is too demanding to drive around alot ha.
