you should add a small wedge to each side of the bag bracket off the axle tube, to reinforce the bracket.. amazing how much pressure will be put on this

cantilever.. can't draw..

how much room do you have on that side i hope about 4" i had to notch the inside of the lower plate for the casting i only used a 1/2"relief you might have to run a small bracket underside for strength

you might make a mock up mount before you cut on that nice bracket you have. and see what it would look like. i did mine twice before i did it that way. not much help for you but first time for me.

well after talking with you last time i measured i think the longest i can use is 27 to 28 inches. going to extend the one i have. other wise it will be around here forever. i have to hook behind the bags thats why brackets are so long.

Whats up fellas..I would like to put in some thoughts..Big1 that panhard will have to be modified a good bit to work well "It's way to long and need's to have a slight bend or angle at one end" This will help in the push and pull of the rearend as it cycles..Have you thoght about cutting your upper bars and mounting them to the pumkin ears that you already have?? For me I think that would be less work then tryn to get that pan to work..Ohh yaeh gusset EVERYTHING lol GOOD LUCK..Roger I'm still workn on those pics I found some hard copys have to scan them in"somewhere"...I updated my gallery so far.

roger was looking at axle pic.you could put on front side of axle then use a brace to the pinion where the bracket is bolted on. these bags seem plenty strong for trailers the top bracket should fit on step. thought just hit me.

cool

i think i,m not going to use pan hard. going to run an angled brace on 4bar. this would free up space. like to see pic's of install of your bags. have you tried to make any fancy braces with plasma cutter.
