We should start a "Junk Yard Watch".

We should post all the parts that we need on this thread, and when one of the members goes to the junk yard he/she can keep an eye out for it and post it here as well. I think that this could be a big time saver for us.

There are several yards in the Pueblo area. I don't hang out there or anything, but let me know what you need. I will call around.

Hey Bull, et al,

I found a URL for the Pull-N-Save in Aurora.

http://www.pullnsave.com/

They list the weekend specials there, as well as some "new arrivals."

Thought you might be interested in the '89 Ford pickup they have listed now.

I gotta check that truck out! I hope it's not burnt like the one I saw a month ago.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 06-Jun-02 AT 02:02 AM (EST)]I will HAVE to check out Pull and Save! I am currently swapping out a 85 Bronco 300 I 6, going to a 85 Bronco 302 EFI. Changing over to a Holley 600 w/ Weiand intake, as I don't want to go to the trouble to change the wiring harness. I will need to pick up a flywheel and another older distributor. Need to change out the clutch, but will go witha new unit here.

I hate to say it, but I just sent a the donor 85 Bronco to La La Land.... one of those places that haul shells away for free. No good sheet metal, but it did have all the glass except a cracked windshield. No engine, tranny, or transfer case. I pulled the no rust tailgate off for mine though.

I live up in the NW side of town, no yards. I have used the yards on Federal, up north on I-25, and Sviegels down on Sante Fe. Too bad we lost Bill and Al's.........

Also think it is a great idea to post what we are looking for and having anyone going out to check on the parts! I'll bookmark this message base and check it often!
