He had a BRV (boost relief valve) that he no longer needed, so he shipped it to me for free, and refused to take any payment.
Since my DP install I've been having overboost issues...I had looked at the thread on how to build my own BRV and even considered buying an OBA when Scott offered. With my little E99 turbo, the BRV will be perfect.
Why do you think that it won't work? If it was mine, I would put the BRV where you have the gauge tee and a few inches closer to the turbo, cut the hose and install the boost gauge tee. Or is there something that I'm not catching?
I did not install the boost guage...so I was under the impression I could plug the boost gauge fitting directly into the BRV.
Nothing to worry about, Lisa. We've all been there before. If you could find a 4 way tee you could do it your way but that would be pretty specialized.
Have fun working on your truck the rest of the day. Enjoy the good weather. I'm heading out to combine beans, if they're fit.
