Special thanks to Scott, Texas Outlaw

Hey guys,

Next time you see Scott, throw him a rep point.

He had a BRV (boost relief valve) that he no longer needed, so he shipped it to me for free, and refused to take any payment.

Since my DP install I've been having overboost issues...I had looked at the thread on how to build my own BRV and even considered buying an OBA when Scott offered. With my little E99 turbo, the BRV will be perfect.

The people here are second to none.

Thanks Scott!!!

Hey no problem, Lisa. My payment is knowing that you are happy and that you can use it.

Is it installed yet?

I'm still in my pajamas. It's cold out and I'm being a pansy.

Alright alright I'll go get dressed...

Boost gauge fitting will not work with the BRV.

Suggestions?

Why do you think that it won't work? If it was mine, I would put the BRV where you have the gauge tee and a few inches closer to the turbo, cut the hose and install the boost gauge tee. Or is there something that I'm not catching?

I'm showing my ignorance.

I did not install the boost guage...so I was under the impression I could plug the boost gauge fitting directly into the BRV.

Or you could be like the cool kids and have a threaded aih plug from Clay to put your boost sensor in.

Way to help out, Scott.

Nothing to worry about, Lisa. We've all been there before. If you could find a 4 way tee you could do it your way but that would be pretty specialized.

Have fun working on your truck the rest of the day. Enjoy the good weather. I'm heading out to combine beans, if they're fit.

If you see a plum of black smoke off in the distance, that's me celebrating my victory of no overboost code!!

Have fun combining. I'm jealous..I wanna drive one of those things.

Pete, you and I both know, I'm not cool.

Thanks again Scott!!!
