MSD 6a, what to use for vibration mount?

Bought a MSD 6a, apparently all the other versions come w/ vibration mounts. Thinking they're a good idea on general principal. Will neoprene or rubber washers do the trick?

Washers really do no good if the screw head touches the unit, and then screws into the truck. The best mounts have molded in screws that are trapped in the rubber, one will touch the unit and the other will bolt to the truck, with no mechanical connection except the rubber.

If you had some thick rubber squares, you could run a bolt upside down through the rubber and into the unit, and make sure the head doesn't stick out of the rubber, and then run a screw from the top down into the truck where the rubber square would stick out beyond the unit.
