LOL Yeah you gotta have thick skin or this place just aint no fun is it ? All joking aside my posts, for the most part were simply to enlighten folks to the shortcomings of the club and similar devices. Since you cant really sleep in the thing with a shotgun in your lap other measures are required.

Robert, 1/2 price days should be coming up no ? I haven't made a run in months. TIME FOR A FIX!

EDIT: ****! 26-29 WTH? who has those days off ? If you head out or happen to have one; I lost the breather cap on the driver valve cover somehow. I need to obtain another, preferably OEM and tattered like the rest of the truck

hey overland, have another question for you on the hood chain. do you think it is strong enough to use as a backup for the hood popping up. took my 66 on aa roadie yesterday and the wind was coming from the side and when i passed semi's going the other direction the hood popped up twice. scared the holly @#%$^%^ outta me. I'v had two other hoods pop up on me in the last 30 years and one of them took out the windshield with it. so now i weld a stronger piece of metal where the safety catch is and that eliminated it from coming all the way open. gonna replace it with a new one before i take another roadie. still scares the crap outta a guy. It's a good sized chain and one end of the chain is bolted to the hood's latching mechinism and the lock is screwed to the radiator core support with four screws so when the chain is locked it will be strong enough to keep the hood from flying open.
