The club, chain lock, ignition & fuel kill switches....should make for a fairly secure vehicle. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Hey Guys,

Can someone elaborate on the fuel cut off switch?

What does it look like?

Where does it go?

Where can I get one?

This sounds like a good idea.

Thanks,

John

You leave your curlers in too long ? WTF? I fail to see how none of the info in y post was a positive. Remember your perception is just that, and it says a lot about a person.

fuel cutoff: The ones i've seen are fabbed using a 3/8 solvent ball valve just under the driver door along the rail. Locking it behind a swing arm box is just extra security. Cheers and your welcome.

Redmanbob, your posts have some positives but they all end with negative comments like... thanks for being a 6 year old about having the lights turned on. Or.... WTF? leave your curlers in too long? which is why I said if you can't refrain from negative comments please don't post! I think thats a reasonable request! no one likes being dinged and you have turned my post about vehicle security into an arguement. Not cool!

Hey Mr. Redmanbob, WTF? How tight is them curlers? Got'em in a bunch? How old is you anyways? You should know by now people's is sensitive. You need to be more compassionate to folks who don't have a sense of humor.
So the next time you post, if you can't say nut'n nice, say what's on your freakin mind, most of us need a chuckle from time to time. It's not like were discussing the "Theory of Relativity" or sum chit like dat.
Remember these post's are private. Only people with important information pertaining to said topic are allowed to post. Humor or enlightened wit will not be tolerated.

Oh yeah give me a call when you can.

Welcome to FTE.
The attacks, sarcasm and I know more than you attitudes is pretty much the norm here.

I like the hood chain deal....would even stop the hood from hitting the windshield if the hood catch fails.

You know I hadn't thought of the hood fly up safety part. My Brother did that at 60 in a 69 Torino, and he said it was quite the adventure. Shattered a brand new windshield, and created some interesting body work on the hood and the roof. Of course I was 14 at the time, and so I just laughed at him.

Please except my apology.
After reading various posts here on this thread I personally did not see any harmful critisizm. If what was stated by Redmanbob was harmful and hurtful or anything I said was hurtful I apologize. However if this was an attack or sarcasm (in your opinion) What is going to happen when an attack or serious sarcasm occurs.
Please don't swing from a rope, deal with it and move on. We are harmless here.
I was attacked here once, I cried like a little girl for weeks. But through friends like Redmanbob, my counselor Dr. Stop Crying and other members here my therapy is almost complete. I'm almost cured. I no longer want to stick my head in the fan of a running truck. I can now participate in post's and no longer fear the keys on my key board. After all it is their fault.
