the pix really look very similar. I'm not very experienced, but I'm guessing things get changed sometimes by just a fraction of an inch - then no ballgame.
here's the numbers stated as from a
1954 passenger car I-6 223 EBF 9430-A --EXHAUST
not very close to the numbers you gave me, still I wonder if they'll fit. I'm getting better pictures today too.
The part number for the original 1954 223 manifold was updated...more than once.
I found three of the numbers using Ford O-S-I catalogs, but cannot crossover this EBF number, because my O-S-I catalogs do not go back any further than 1955.
C3AZ9426AreplacedC1TE9426A,B8A9426A,B4A9426A, and prolly EBF9430A.
C3AZ9426A is the ONLY 223 exhaust manifold listed in the 1949/59, 1960/64 Passenger Car & 1948/56, 1957/63 and 1964/72 Truck parts catalogs.
1952/53 215 exhaust manifold: EAA9426A
Ford updates 10's of 1000's of part numbers every year!
Trying to keep track of all this jazz is a full time job in itself. And one needs the O-S-I catalogs to do all this jazz. O-S-I = Obsolete-Supercede-Interchange.

the pictures look pretty darn identical. is this deceiving? what's the chance that these manifolds look "the same" but differ by slight measurements etc?
I know it's posible to send you a private message, but haven't figured that out yet. I'm interested in the exhaust manifold, do you have intake too? I'm worried that removing will destroy both.
Email me at "dzmathis at att dot net" and we can figure out a price. I have the intake but it has an exhaust leak in it. The intake tract is fine, just the ex gas and heat part of the intake has a slight hole about the size of a thumb. Both of mine do in fact, seems the ex gas finally eats away at the cast iron. You could probably weld it up with nickel rod, but I doubt it would be worth the trouble.
I just soaked my bolts with deep creep for a few days and everything came apart pretty easily. You could also just cut through the nuts/bolts with a die grinder or dremel or similar.
Still haven't figured out the whole PM thing myself
