Question Dash?

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 59'? I need the dash wiring diagram,
trying to get the fuel gauge working.

It's pretty straight forward. Wire in to one stud on the gauge from power source, then out to sending unit from the other stud. Gauges may be linked together on the power sides by a metal shunt and power only flowing up to the first gauge - then out to each sending unit.

If no one responds write a PM to Col Flashman...he should have one.

Question dash?

What about the ground? Is not just hooking up the elec. to the fuel tank is a potential bomb?

The sending units are grounded to the engine block and the gas sending unit through the tank to ground. If your tank is installed correctly, or rather in OEM fashion, it's grounded. If your tanks not grounded, it's a bomb all by itself - static build up. Like filling gas cans up in the back of your truck.
