I have recently purchased a 99 F250 Superduty (7.3L). The seats are in bad shape (leather Lariat). I have a line on new ones from a 2005 F250. The seats are a different style and would add to the trucks comfort and looks but fearful they would not bolt right up causing me to customize the replacement seats. I take my kids in it from time to time and really do not want to sacrifice safety of the stock seat system. If they bolt right up, I'm comfortable. Anyone know if they bolt right in or is this a can of worms? New to the forum and not sure about how this all works.
Welcome to the Oregon chapter and the forums. Sorry I do not know on the seat, to new for my trucks. Someone may know, I hope. Best to look at them both and see if you can see any differances.

Thanks for the reply. I purchased the seats based on all the chat lines out there stating they have performed very similar tasks. Hope they work. I will let you know next week when they show up what kind of trouble I'm facing. Thanks again.
They should work fine, if the 87-96 F-series can be used as a guide.........just about any and all interior parts will interchange, seats especially............I see no reason Ford would have done differently on the SDs.
