76 bronco ignition switch removal..

I want to put a new ignition in because the old one was pulled and they used a screwdriver to start the bronco. Is there a trick to get it out or is it pretty straight forward?

Pretty straight forward... if the key tumbler is not in it..... The screwdriver will not hurt the switch if that is what you are worried about.... the keyed tumbler does the same thing as a common screwdriver.......

hello, i just did one not to long ago, well if you lost a key or dont have one like me you needa drill the tumbler and basically rip the dam thing out. to install a new onethere is a pin hold at the bottom of the tumbler, when you install it thats the simple but if u ever need to remove it for some reason or other you insert a pin into that hole while its in the accessory mode then u keep turning it un the whole tumbler moves then u can take it right out again
