No not much more than you can pick up from the pictures. Under the hood is a 352???

I bought another truck there and said I liked this one too. He said for xxx dollars you can have this instead. I said I wanted both but didn't have the cash. I said let me work for the price of it. To make a long story short I have to go see him on Tuesday.

Allright!! How cool to have a Mercury! ...although, Mercury-specific trim parts are likely scarce for that truck.

You never know, there is probably a whole Merc sub-culture. Probably hold secret meetings and have their own handshake.

Good score!

Never really thought about trim parts. The meetings and handshake thing does have me intrigued.

The tailgate looks like it has survived well and would fetch a pretty penny. IMHO

I think it is in pretty good shape. Overall the truck has very few actual holes.

I wonder what the resale value would be.

It basically cost me time and labor to buy.

Tailgate, emblems and front panel are the most unique parts, and are all very valuable to someone who needs them. Aside from the butchered dash, looks like a pretty complete truck.

I have been to the border but never set foot in Canada. I hear that your winters are pretty rough on old trucks up there with all the road salt.

The tailgate, hood letters and side badging are the big difference from the US F series.

I'd guess the tailgate is worth as much as the truck in some markets.

I read tonight that some Fords were rebadged Mercury by dealers in Canada. I think it said in 1968.

That is awesome. I didn't know that any of the F100s were badged as Mercurys.

The Mercury tailgate will sell for $500.00-$1000.00 on ebay.
