Not a lot of progress in the last year. My job is keeping me busy, we have a little one toddling around the house now too, so that's fun!
Interior is just about buttoned-up, the seat goes in next, then door panels and figure out a headliner. Need to drop the bed on the frame, and install the parking and tail lights. I still need to figure out why the wiper motor isn't working.

Long-time, no update. Tinkering on the truck as time allows. I refurbished the WC style tow mirrors and installed them. (Passenger side is folded in the picture, which allows me to get the truck in/out of the garage easier.) I have installed the reupholstered seat and the bed, with new fuel-fill hoses. I also found a very nice NOS tailgate that was the correct color! Just need to do the lights, and technically I'd be able to drive it on the road (after licensing). It's only been 9 years since I started, maybe I'll have her on the road by the 10th anniversary.

Long time/No update. Work has been very busy, even through the Covid shutdowns of 2020. Kids are busy. We've accomplished some major home renovation projects that tapped the time and money. I've been working on it now and then this year. I got a rear bumper and hitch receiver for Christmas and my birthday, and got them installed. I installed my "NTO" tailgate today. (New/Take-off) The paint color doesn't match exactly, but it's close if you squint.
I've got some electrical gremlins to chase next. For some reason the MSD box isn't getting the ignition signal, so she won't start. Left tail/brake light doesn't work. Wipers don't work. The rest is cosmetic.

Trying to shake the bugs out of the old girl. Recently I’ve had to re-replace the wheel cylinders and brake booster. Had to update insurance so I can do some longer road testing, outside of the neighborhood. Agent needed pics, I took these today. Still some cosmetic stuff to do, but I can drive it like this, and work on cosmetics over the winter.

I may need some help
Hey Guys!
I have a 1973 F250 with a 390. Recently I went to start it and it was running crappy, blowing black smoke everywhere and running choppy. First thing I did was pull the carb on it. The seat for the needle had some crap in it so I replaced it entirely (had it so why not). Put a new power valve in it, new accelerator pump, have a filter that screws right into the carb and connects to rubber 3/8 fuel line. Checked the spark plugs and the threads were covered black. Im starting to wonder if the timing is off, but I doubt it considering it was running beautifully one day and the next it wasn’t. HEI’s don’t wiggle out of place like that over night.
What I’m basically saying is I’m stumped. Just wanted to see if any one has gone through these trials and tribulations, or knows how to fix it.
This truck is my baby. Got it from looking junkyard worthy to looking like I got it off the lot. Was my great grandpas and I’m lucky enough to be driving. Just miss it because it’s been sitting for a month.
