I tried the search, but didn't see this issue. When I fill the tank, the truck is hard to start. Has 5.4L in 2006 4x4. Don't have any issues after sitting or any other time. Just when filling the tank. Maybe the truck chokes on the price of gas, too.

 

Does this happen everytime you fill the tank, or just recently on one tankful?

Does the truck,ping or buck at all when you drive it? or have any other symptoms other than starting it after filling it up?

 

Just the starting issue on start up after filling the tank. Other than that it runs fine.

 

man,that's a tough one.I wonder if it may be some type of a venting issue. I'd check out the tank area under the truck to make sure there aren't any lines or anything that are pinched or crimped.
