Are their any 75 F350 super camper special trucks out there. If so what have you done so far on your project? I have only seen two super camper special trucks in the past 20 years. I am restoring my truck which I have owned since 1/10/76. I just had the bed sprayed by linex.
My bro just landed a 1979 F350 Camper Special Ranger Lariat SuperCab from it's original owner with 58,000 original miles on the 460 and C6 with factory working A/C and cruise control. It's pretty dang cool. It's inspired me to build a SuperCab Stepside.
I was completely unaware of the longer wheel base super camper special until I saw the dispute about the blue and white truck. SCS is a neat set up. How could these be bought (engine, 4 door, supercab)?
Heres mine , it has a longer wheelbase and the spare is behind a cover on the side of the box.
There is a member thats going to say mine isnt a SCS (he should be along soon) but Ill let him say it, and just say mine has all the same things a SCS had.
The Super Camper Specials only came in regular cabs. I believe they only came with FE or 460 motors. Mine was a 1974 390. My brother has a 1979 with a 460. The spare tire cover is a dead givaway! If you look around you will see them. I think Ford made quite a few of them between 1973 and 1979. Awesome trucks! (140" wheelbase) Too bad they weren't available in a 4X4 version!!!
