i have a 1977 ford f250 with a 351m and i changed the stater the plugs wires and carb and it has a new battery but it wont start it just makes a clicking noise so i tryed to jumpstart it but still just clicks

 

Clean the battery terminals, solenoid terminals, and double-check all connections for tightness, including the starter. Also clean the ground cable and its attachment point on the block.

automatic i also forgot to mention i got brandnew battery cables and cleaned all the connection i think it might be the soleniod

 

If the solenoid is clicking in an attempt to start, then that usually means it is engaging. Measure its output to verify it is indeed applying voltage to the starter.
