May as well say hi.

What happens at *****'s on Wednesdays/Fridays/Saturdays?

I eat there prob. once a month (best fries, second-best burger in town), but haven't paid much attention to all of the announcements etc. on the walls.

Sounds like quite a few people from Calgary in here. I'm in Woodbine if anyone is interested. Been driving my wife nuts since buying this truck. Replaced quite a bit on it already with tuning up, improving performance and just tinkering. Too bad I don't have a garage, I think that she gets tired of looking out our window and seeing my butt hanging over the front of the truck!

This is my first Ford, first 4x4, and first lift kit. So far, it's been a love/hate relationship. Does it get better?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 11-Jul-02 AT 11:57 PM (EST)]Hey RBHunting - Just outta curiosity, what year of truck do you have? and btw - Welcome I just looked back and answered my own question - 1990 Ranger. I had a 1994 Ranger 2x4 for a couple of years, but sold it last year. I found it to be too small inside, but other than that it was a great truck. I'm sure you'll be happy with it. How's the power? I think that the one I had was also a 2.9 I do know it was a V6.

Just "Wednesday's" at *****'s MacLeod Tr.is Hot Rod Night.
The lot fills with them.
I get there occasionally.

Friday/Saturday's downtown on 6 ave between 2nd 3rd St Sw.
That is where about 1/4 of everything in town comes out to play at about 10:30pm

Phat56 - Well, yesterday I would have told you that the power was a bit weak. After changing the fan clutch and doing a code check on it last night, it now runs great! I don't know if the relay check loosened something up, or if the fan spinning too fast was keeping the engine too cool or ???, but it feels like a completely different vehicle today. Not only that, it actually looks like it is getting better mileage. Maybe I scared the computer into working or something.

mil1ion - Hadn't heard about the downtown playground thing. My neighbor is a stock car driver (Race City stock car class) and probably would love to take his pickup down there some night. I'll mention it to him. I don't think my little 2.9 would be worth showing off.

Thanks for the interest guys (and gals?).

May as well say hi.

Glad to see a western Canada chapter. I'm Rob and I live in Victoria BC. My vehicle is a 1999 Triple E Commander on the F53 chassis (V10). I appreciate the opportunity to share info with other V10 owners, both motorhomers and others.

Absolutely Bill, it's always a test when you introduce yourself to a new group to see what kind of a reception you get, right.
