Question for you 4x4 guys

As president of Alberta Tractor Pullers Assn, I've been thinking of different ways to increase membership. One of my thoughts would be to introduce a "street" 4x4 class using D.O.T. tires and basic safety rules. You would run for prize money and season long points just like we do in the mod classes. Is there any interest out there?

Question for you 4x4 guys

Hey Bounty Hunter we have street class 4x4 pulling in Ont it's super succesfull the entry turn out is usually local to the event area but is usually quite big.Good luck on getting this started in AB might take a season or two for people to get up the cahonies to do it but
as soon as one local guy wins a prize everyother testostorned 4x4 owner for miles around especially the younger crowd will want to give it a try.

LOL

Well after almost 72 hours me thinks that Ford truckers are a bunch of wusses. I'm soooooooo embarassed. Guess I better talk to the (shudder) bow tie guys.

Question for you 4x4 guys

Not necessarily wusses... Some of us only have 4X2's... It costs a lot of money when things start to break on a truck, and pulling is one of the worst things. I don't seem to have a whole lot of money since moving to Calgary. Sure, I make more than I did in a tiny Northern town, but heck, it only cost me 500 bucks a month to rent a whole farm with a half section of land, house, and many outbuildings!
I am a drag racer at heart... Just waiting for money to be able to do it right. Then' I'll be racing my 78 half ton (with hopefully 351M to 400 crank and piston swap), and my 76 Supercab 150 with 460, and my 71 Torino GT with 351 Cleveland 4V. I'll race 'em all!
