FYI, I was at Calgary Pick-A-Part today and say a Ford engine with a 4 barrel intake. I think it was a 460 but am not sure. It had individual rocker arms (no shaft) and the rockers were staggered (not in line) also the thermostat came straight up from the intake. I have no use for this but someone else might.

FYI
That's probably a 360 or 390.
What year was it?

Was it a two tone green supercab with the topper without side windows?
Or the Green Reg cab with the truck & camper behind it?

OK, I was at P.A.P. again today and took a survey of 4 barrel manifolds in ford vehicles. Here is what I found:
first row of fords (short row starting from west) orange/white truck - 460
second row (first long row) dark blue van - 460
second row 2-tone green truck - 360/390
second row 80's truck - 351 (matching air cleaner laying on ground)
third row dark green '79 reg. cab - 460
sixth row brown/tan '79 x-cab - 460
Go get'm!

I got my carb from the 390 in the 2nd row.
What year & trim level was the orange/white one?

FYI
I don't know about trim level or year but I did notice that that particualar manifold looked like it was for a Q-jet because the two back holes were very large and the two front holes were small...like a quadrajet.
BTW would the manifold on the 351 fit on my 302? Seems to me that it wouldn't.

No Quad's for Ford's that I can remember.
They had the Holley & Ford Spread bore.
That's why I was ecstatic when I found the square bore crab for the 390. They are a lot rarer then the spread bore.
I'm pretty sure the 351W intake would fit only with the heads on your 302.
It's the heads that make the big difference.

FYI
I need to find something other than this junky Motorcraft 4350 carb that I have! Very fussy carb... Sloshes fuel when coming to a stop, and truck barely idles for a bit. (doesn't quite stall, tho)
