Where to go off roading in Edmonton

does anyone know of some good accesable trails near Edmonton

I was out the other day after work trying to come home and avoid traffic when I stumbled on what looked like to be some trails out here in the west end the next day I took out my old 4by4 and sure enough JACKPOT there were lots of trails and good mudbogs and climbs to be had I even got stuck but thats why we go offroading now isnt it? to get STUCK , I think I need to go winch shoping soon and start packing a shovel oh I modified my truck a little since last years photo's I need to repost

wicked, there's an offroad park out by sherewood park, name slips my mind though.

hey, I live in sherwood park! Where is this "off road park"? Or what's the name of it? I would love to check it out =)

Alberta Safari park or something along those lines.

I also live in Sherwood Park, where is this gem??? There is also a spot around Devon that I plan to go to this spring, its just a trail down to an oil pump, but theres a big hill and some turns, and of course lots of mud! Its quite a popular spot for quadding, ive been there a few times.

the spot near sherwood park would that be the landfill off meridian? i was just there yesturday lotsa spots for quading and dbiking as well. where is that spot you found in the west end?

the spot is west of 184 st north of Stonyplain road behund the propane shack lots of hills and mud and trails

Im going with a bunch of 4 wheel enthusiast's tomorrow on Sunday nov 9th 2008 ill be meeting them at the tim hortons on 184th st and 111 ave between 1-130 should be a good time hope to see some of you out there

Hey guys, new to this forum and new to 4X4ing around Edm. Would be sweet to hear of and perhaps receive some derections to put into me GPS thingy >_> of some great spots to dig some holes and sink my truck in! does anyone get together and make a day of it? ya! but anyways even some sweet spots would be nice *cheers*

I live on 209st! I know exactly where you are talking about. I live on an acreage right by there. I have a shop on my property too! Send me a pm if you wanna go off roading or work on ya truck or somethig
