I just called Guyon Racing here in Calgary to find out that it would cost $160 to recurve my dist. Does this sound a little high or is that the going rate? Any other suggestions for having this work done?

Thanks

Thanks Dennis, I called Mopac and they suggested Deltech Automotive. I called them and they said $75 to $80. That sound better. Have you ever heard of Deltech?

Thanks

Deltech is a great High Pro place. They build some real sweet engines there. I know one of the mechanic's there too, Greg.

I finally got around to getting my dist. recurved. Like you said Dennis, I called Mopac and they refered me to Deltech.

They seemed real knowledgeable...the big guy that seems to run the place told me about what they could do and even knew about a place in northern AB that has a whole yard full of old Fords. Anyways I dropped it off for the day and they did there magic.

Well the whole operation was a success...the truck run just a good as it did before (except for a little rougher idle) and it only cost me $213.

The name of the guy with all the old fords...at the end the big guy couldn't find the guys name and couldn't really remember where he was located.

I might know of that place... Not that far north though... Just east of Edmonton.
Lotsa different brands, but many Fords from 20's, 30's, and up. Some musclecars, Ford, Dodge... He is a spotter, meaning he flies his plane all over and marks the locations of neat looking vehicles sitting in fields and bush. Can't remember how I found the guy! He is a farmer with a great hobby collecting vintage iron! He even goes to the US regularly.
