I am trying to locateinfo on how to disable the automatic door lock feature on the a 2008 f150 crew cab. It seems to lock all doors at a set speed of the vehicle. We us the truck alot for hunting and has become a real pain for the hunters in the back seat to get out in a hurry when game has been spotted and the driver has to unlock the doors for them. I hope it is like the seat belt alarm disable function that was easy. Thanks for any help you can offer.

 

Not sure about your 2008, but the instructions how to disable the autolock start on page 104 of my 2006 owners manual.

thanks alot I /we will try that out. It is on my brother in-laws truck he and or my sister lost the owners manual to it. Probably somewhere in the woods?

 

If you have the 3 driver information buttons on right side of wheel you push the middle one till autolocks pop up. Then select to disable.

 

is there any way to get the back doors to unlock with the front doors like most cars do, sometimes i forget to unlock the backdoors as i am used to travelling on my own, it gets a little annoying!
