Search for V10 cherry bomb and look for Bladely's post. The Cherry bomb extreme muffler with 4" x 18" tips sounds pretty good. Going to put it on my truck in a the next couple of weeks! Can't wait!

2006 V-10 Exhaust

Hey I need help with my exhaust,I had a custom system built for my truck. Looked great but you couldnt ride in the thing! It would drone you to death. The muffler was a Flowmaster. It was finally decided that the new 3 valve design couldnt be fitted with an after market exhaust. The stock ubit was mistakenly junked and the stock system isnt in the after market yet. Anyone know of a system that wont drone?

Heh, it's funny.. You guys seem to have the same issue us I6 guys have. There's a V10 that goes up and down my road all the time. I think it sounds good. I wish I new what he was running so I could help you guys out.

I have a Flowmaster on my I6 and it sounds okay. Would you guys be interested in a sound clip or would it not help?

The stock 2V log manifolds really mess with the sound of the 2V V10. I wish Ford would have used a manifold like the 3V V10 on the 2V.

Smaller cylinders? I don't think there is anything small about 6.8Ls.
Smallish bore, long stroke. The 6.8l is pretty much the opposite of 6.2l in that aspect.

I went with the straight thru Magnaflow and love it. Nice deep tone at idle and accel, but almost completely silent at cruise. I also have the Y-Pipe mod and a 4 inch stainless tip.

Found the Hedman setup with the Y for about $560 so that most likely will be the pick right after the centerforce clutch. Thanks again

V10 FORD F250

I put a Gibson on mine and love it! You cannot expect a v10 to sound like an 8 but Gibson did their best to make this kit have a throaty sound. Click search for Gibson Exhaust and their is alot of info on this forum for those v10's with Gibson and that is why i went with it. Make sure you get the stainless if you have any salt on the rodes where you live. Gibson warranties stainless for a lifetime against rust.
