f100 shoulder belts

I would like to install 3 point seat belts in my 1960 f100. Is the brace in the corner of the cab above the seat back strong enough to mount the seat belt?

Got a picture?

If it's not they make kits that are basicly curved plates with a nut welded to it.

All of the installs I have seen use that brace or the ones on the window and the door lips. Although most use some kind of bracket between two points (either the window and door or the brace you discribed and the one below it) so as to put the belt anchor in the most comfortable location it is still attached to these points and thus only as strong as these points even thought the brackets might seem stronger. Here is a picture of one of the guys on FTE's (Larry) bracket to show you what I am talking about.

I plan on doing something like this but I will bolt mine in using the same two points as the picture, I bolt because I have no welder.
