Who has a low slung flatbed trailer, I can use your help.
At work here in Stamford is an 8x10 garden shed (9 feet tall) that has been offered to me free for the taking.
I'm hoping someone has a trailer that when carrying the shed will pass through a 12 foot clearance underpass as there isn't any way around it.
That means the trailer's deck has to be within 3 feet off the road.
I wonder if flatbed snowmobile trailer would suffice?

Up-date:
I talked to a contractor who takes care of the station here.
He said it would be several hundred dollars to haul that shed up to Stratford.
(He parks his 18-wheeler low-slung trailer & tractor here when he isn't using it.)
Even with that, once the shed was through the underpass, I would still have to hire a Jerdan car carrier to take the shed off his trailer and bring it down the tight road to the house.
I got a lead from the company who used to build that shed, I spoke with the guy and he's going to get back to me later this weekend.
The contact says he still has all the equipment to jockey the shed around, but he needs to see if he can get use of the trailer which he previously had been borrowing to deliver these shed.

Alright Dave, I dont think my trailer will work out for you its possible to use it but would take some thought. Its 20ft deck, 7foot 8 or so between the tires. I thought that maybe it would fit in front of the tires but there is only 8 feet there. The deck is 30 inches off the ground, and if you were to put it on top of the wheels you would still be under the 36 inches. The major problem I see is getting the shed up that high to begin with and then unloading. Let me know what you think.
