If you want help you have to help us with more details than given. Whats your vehicle? When does it happen... coasting, accelerating, braking, towing, rough road, highway or city driving, info needed. But probably a short somewhere or a bad ground?

it's a f-150 5.4 supercrew 2006 47,000 mi.it
it shuts off with no warning, no rough idle or anything. it only happens on city roads when coasting or slow accel speeds. pull over, starts right up, then i have about a week before i have to worry about it again

Try cleaning the throttlebody. The butterfly might be sticking in build-up in the inner wall.

Check your owner's manual, it might be under warranty.
