We woke up to two inches of new snow. Temps were in the low thirties throughout the day, so even though it was snowing there was not much accumulation. Since the sun went down the temp has dropped again so I shut off my outside water and drained the sprinklers.
Guess that's going to be the end of most of the flowers.
I saw a lot of cars that looked like they had six or eight inches of snow on them, so we got off light in my area.
The Wasatch mountains are dusted and beautiful here in Utah. It's rained all day here in the valley and snowed in the mountains. no pics yet, but there will be in the future.
Sheesh...I'm waiting for the first frost here, I know it will be soon. Wouldn't be surprised if we got snow by the middle of the month. We're already having lows in the 40's and highs in only the mid 60's (at best) most days, last year this time of year it was still mid 70's during the day and mid 50's overnight.
Still snowing up here- only about 2" accumulation, not a whole lot. Nothing sticking on the roads. It's supposed to be back up into the 50s tomorrow and Wednesday, so I'll have time to get my back field turned under and get the plow on my tractor.
It was snowing pretty good in the Twin Falls area yesterday morning.....we got to drive through about 100 miles or so of it until we got down into Utah.
